Reporting Misfiled Emails
From time-to-time, you may file emails in the wrong place. Typically, organisations have to maintain proper records that document the fact that emails were put in the wrong place and audit the remedial actions. Topaz Filer has a feature that lets you express a request to your administrative team that will help them to file the email in the correct place. To use the feature, select the Report Misfiling option from the right-click context menu (see "Filing Model Context ("Right-click") Menu"). This will display the Report Misfiling dialog. The uppermost region of the screen allows you to search for the messages that you have filed. Once you have entered your search options, click Search for Messages.

Mark the messages that have been misfiled by using the checkboxes against each item. Once you have selected the messages that you want, click OK. You will be presented with a new email message containing stub information about the misfiling. Add rememdial instructions (highlighted in yellow in the screenshot below) to this email and then send it to your administrative staff.
