Document Manager integration

Topaz Filer has tight integration with Document Manager (DM) from Document Logistix Ltd. This means that your storage model can use DM as a destination and all emails will automatically be stored into the document management system. All email details are available to be used to index the email thus saving the user even more time and improving system accuracy.

The user can edit the information being stored against the email, or if there is some required information missing, the system will prompt the user for the outstanding information. Topaz Filer will display an indexing window for the user's interaction. Once the user saves this email all the altered metadata will be stored against the email in the document management system.

Another benefit of using Document Manager with Topaz Filer is that the Document Manager will store all types of information both paper and electronic. This gives the business a central location for all information relating to a customer, client or supplier allowing more efficient control and searching. Document Manager will also allow content searching of email attachments and paper documents.

Within the Outlook window a user can select a location in the Topaz Filer tree and browse store. This will open the store location in Document Manager showing the user the document store. This will include ALL document types meaning that if you are on the phone to a customer, client or supplier you can access the information quickly. This enables your business to hit good response times.

Document Manager will also allow very tight controls around the access of information allowing greater levels of compliance to be reached. The integration into Document Manager means that a user will only see the correct information in the Topaz Filer tree within Outlook that their permissions give them.
